PSo™ (Pty) Ltd provide a platform for the real time application of project management
methodologies and best practises.

An excellent and proven implementation process is followed, starting with the deployment of a project management team from Triniti Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd. This team acquires time with the management team, project managers and other stakeholders to gain understanding of the business, the requirement for the project management, the unique attributes of the project management team and the scope of work already performed and to be performed.

This is converted into a model for a project support office. Data is collated, templates presented and project audits are conducted. Opportunities for the implementation of ‘quick wins’ in the business are identified and pursued. Emphasis is places on the identification of the Key Performance Indicators for the management of projects as this drives the implementation approach. Project management reports are created before the deployment of any software solution.

The software is rolled out as the last step in the process, once the business has embraced the methodology and solution and the environment has stabilised. Software is therefore only regarded as the enabler for the process and procedures implemented during the initial phase.

The following customer list provides evidence of the success of this approach:

  • Lonmin Limpopo mine Case Study
  • Airchefs Case Study
  • Triniti Business Solutions Group of Companies Case Study

Project Management professionals are regularly
confronted with challenges in the environment. To name just a few of these challenges:

  • Different methodologies (and versions thereof) are frequently implemented in organisations that create confusion in specific project situations.
  • Project Management tools often focus on automating the project administration process and do not always take into consideration the importance and need for project management and operational control integrated with a minimised risk model.
  • Software implementations are tedious and time-consuming creating an additional burden on the project management process, rather than supporting the process.
  • Intellectual Capital around the implementation of a project management process, are often situated in the heads and minds of individuals putting organisations at risk when individuals leave or change career path.
  • Effective and efficient Project Management skills and knowledge are rare; organisations are continuously investing in developing resources only to find that they leave for greener pastures applying the newly gained knowledge.
  • Software implementations are not integrated. This creates an overhead when data needs to be recaptured or creates opportunities for data manipulation.
  • Business managers are never sure about the real status of projects. Information is not readily available. It is difficult to interpret and the volume of information makes it extremely difficult to get a clear view on how resources, expenditure, budgets are utilised.
